The Autorité de Regulation des Communications Électroniques et des Postes (ARCEP) announced the adoption of a new National Frequency Band Allocation Plan (NFAP) on January 9, 2025. This plan includes the allocation of the 6425-7125 MHz frequency band for IMT and the 3600-3800 MHz frequency band for 5G and next-generation mobile services.
Additionally, on April 29, 2025, ARCEP published Decision No. 2025-011/ARCEP/CR, which defines the categories and conditions for the use of stations exclusively composed of low-power and short-range devices. This decision includes the 5945-6425 MHz frequency band for WAS/RLAN use.
